Major Incident Training

Willie Baker has an impressive record in respect of major incident management. He has worked alongside partner agencies and has over twenty years experience in  writing, delivering and evaluating virtually every type of disaster related training exercise.  He has designed and conducted table-top scenarios and live simulations; invigilated and assessed the response and actions of other ‘blue-light’ services and has facilitated de-brief sessions.

His background includes:-

He was the first ‘silver’ incident officer at the Ladbroke Grove train crash near Paddington in London in 1999, following which he was presented to H.R.H. the Prince of Wales and received a commendation for his leadership actions.

He wrote the briefing for the Prime Ministers office following the derailment at Selby in 2003, and spent four days in the ‘gold’ command centre following the accident at Ufton Nervet in 2004.

His operational experience and training credentials make him a sought after expert and he regularly supports the National Policing Improvements Agency as an Associate Tutor, delivering Critical and Major incident training to police forces throughout the UK.

يتمتع ويلي بيكر بسجل حافل في مجال ادارة الاحداث الكبرى، حيث عمل الى جانب وكالات شريكة ولديه خبرة تزيد على العشرين عاما في مجال الكتابة وتقديم وتقييم كافة انواع التمارين التدريبية الخاصة بالكوارث. وقد قام بتصميم واجراء سيناريوهات رائدة ومحاكاة حية، اضافة الى مراقبة وتقييم الاستجابة والافعال لخدمات “الضوء الازرق (الخدمات الشرطية والحرائق والانقاذ والاسعاف)” الاخرى، كما قام بتسهيل جلسات استعلام.

تتضمن خلفيته الآتي:

- كان ضابط الاحداث “الفضي” الاول في حادث تصادم القطارات في لادبروك غروف بالقرب من بادنغتون في لندن عام 1999، والتي تم تقديمه على اثرها الى صاحب السمو الملكي امير ويلز وتم تكريمه لادواره القيادية.

- قام بكتابة تقرير الاحاطة لمكتب رئيس الوزراء بعد حادث انحراف القطار في سيلبي عام 2003، وقضى اربعة ايام في مركز القيادة “الذهبية” بعد حادثة اوفتون نيرفيت عام 2004.

- ان خبرته العملياتية ومؤهلاته التدريبية تجعل منه خبيرا مطلوبا، وهو يدعم بشكل منتظم الوكالة الوطنية لتطوير العمل الشرطي كمدرب مشارك، من خلال ما يقدمه من التدريب على الاحداث الكبرى والخطيرة لقوى الشرطة في كافة انحاء المملكة المتحدة.
